First job of the day complete, and your office staff know this in real-time because they've just been notified that their engineer has electronically signed off the job. Since they're still in the Fieldfusion mobile app they check their second appointment for the day and head-off (after a cuppa of course).
Not only did your engineer arrive late to site after the earlier confusion, but they're not being allowed on site! They can't find their Risk Assessment and Method Statement to allow them to begin work. Fieldfusion allows the attachment of customised RAMS and other crucial documents to specific jobs.
Job done, ready for some lunch...
The second job is wrapping up as planned but this is a really fussy customer. Your engineer sees a note on the job page to take pictures of their completed work, which they do through the Fieldfusion app, attaching the picture to the job to allow quick access if needed in the future.
Finally, the first job is finished but the day is now massively behind, nobody knows this at the office because the engineer has been too busy to call in and let anybody know. A paper job sheet is tediously filled in and thrown into a pile of papers in the van. Fieldfusion's integrated documentation eliminates paper job sheets.
Lunch done. Time to move on to the next job...
Signing in to the third job of the day and the site requires RAMS, the engineer has these on the job page in their Fieldfusion app, a few clicks and the documents are emailed to the site manager and they're free to crack on with the work at hand.
Arrives at the second job but gets a call from the office — it's about a job they did last week — the customer is complaining about how it was left, the job sheet is nowhere to be found so the engineer can't prove the job was signed off! An unpaid re-visit will need to be rescheduled to keep the customer happy!
The last job of the day is nearly finished...
Extra help is needed to finish the last job of the day on-schedule. Back in the office they glance at a map updated in real-time to find the closest engineer to re-route. The re-routed engineer gets an instant notification via Fieldfusion's integrated messaging function and dashes over to help out.
Extra help is needed on a job that's already well behind, the dispatcher back in the office isn't sure where anybody is or who is available to help because engineers have been too busy to keep them in-the-loop.
End of the day. Hopefully traffic is decent...
The engineer takes one last look at Fieldfusion's integrated task list to make sure they haven't missed anything. Good news! All jobs are complete and relevant documents are signed-off and stored safely in the Fieldfusion system. Time to head straight home!
Unable to find anyone to help out, the job has gone over. A return visit will need to be scheduled, and the last job of the day will also need moving, losing trust from customers and messing up the existing schedule.
